What Not to Do in Monopoly

You can make a lot of mistakes in monopoly that you might not even think are mistakes. If you want to increase your odds of winning don't do the following.
1. Don't be picky
Don't be picky about what to buy and what not to buy, buy everything. Everything gives you pretty much the same return on investment, so why not buy as much as you can and stop trying to figure out the absolute best properties you can.
2. Don't Refuse to Negotiate
You might think that negotiating is just a way for you to help out your opponent, and you're right. But it also helps you out as well. Negotiating as much as you possibly can, can be a great way to get the edge in the game, and considering the fact that monopoly lets you negotiate about anything be creative, make deals, auction off properties, etc.
Now you do not have to accept all deals. Some might help your opponent out more then it helps you. If that is the case you can always walk away from it.
3. Don't Spend all of your Money
It is better if you keep some money in reserve just in case you land on some one's property. Don't spend all of your money on a big hotel unless you are about to pass go, or get some money another way.
Always keep money in reserve because you never want to start mortgaging your properties.
4. Don't bail yourself out at the end of the game
When it is the end of the game and all the properties are bought don't bail yourself out of jail. You don't want to be landing on everyone else's property and paying them. Just be happy that you are sitting back and getting money while everyone else is paying you.
